Wexham Park Golf Centre has been the largest teaching facility in the area for the past 25 years. Throughout that time we have been responsible not only for introducing people to the game, but also providing advice to golfers moving right through to elite level. Every year we help thousands of golfers in every age category improve their enjoyment of the game. There are two formats in which people can learn, individual coaching & group coaching. Group coaching tends to be suitable for beginners and novice golfers who are looking to start the game with a sound understanding of the basic movements. Individual one-to-one coaching is more intensive and although perfect for beginners too is mainly aimed at improving players with experience on the course.
We currently have six professionals coaching at Wexham Park, all of which are fully qualified PGA members.

I am a fully qualified PGA member with over 25years experience. I qualified with the PGA in 1999 and have now been at Wexham for 15 years. I have worked in a number of different regions of the PGA, as well as with leading figures within the professional golfing industry. Working with, for example, Head PGA Examiners to established European TourPlayers, including Multiple Order of Merit winner Carl Mason. This has provided me with a sound understanding of all aspects of the game of golf.
Having devoted most of my profession to coaching, I am still playing competitive golf to aid my training and development. Some of my coaching highlights include being selected to teach at the Ladies European Tour Masters, held at the Buckinghamshire, and more recently, The Women’s British Open, held at Woburn. I have a clear understanding of what it takes to be a tour professional and can adapt this coaching to all levels of player to help them learn and improve.
As part of my coaching I use the latest video technology and software throughout the lesson, coupled with a detailed swing analysis. This allows me to explain to pupils how they are performing and what is required to achieve their personal goals. I teach beginners, groups and the more established golfer, including scratch players. I structure lessons in an easy to understand manner that creates a relaxed atmosphere to encourage learning.
Moving forward, I am always working hard towards my personal development, enrolling on courses and programmes to further my knowledge and coaching capacity.

Having played tennis at county level before turning to golf, I have experienced both intensive competition and elite coaching methods. I use this experience to teach golfers of all abilities, from complete beginners through to scratch golfers, trying to make golf as simple and as easy as possible. I work with individuals on reaching their goals and can accommodate people of all ages for individual and group lessons. I often use video analysis, with slow-motion function to help aid progression, understanding and technique.
I currently coach the ladies roll up at 11.00 on Tuesday’s, where I work with the ladies on all areas of the game, in a friendly environment, helping them improve their golf and often gain handicaps.

Having an early morning beer in the Airport with a fellow professional on our way to play golf.
Was reading about Rihanna, who I have a crush on, in the paper and just generally we were both besotted. He then went for a walk leaving me in the bar on my own. Next thing this girl sits on the table in front of me. I then look up and I can’t believe my eyes , she looks at me and my drink and then goes and gets the same beer as me and comes back. Oh my god it was Rihanna and me on our own in the bar. James then comes back and I said you won’t believe this but look who’s behind you. It was brilliant. Within 5 minutes her entourage was there and the airport was going crazy. Body guards and fans but we were the ones sat drinking there.
I am Daniel a fully qualified PGA Professional and have been working at Wexham for 16 years. In addition to my coaching I am also a keen sportsman, and have not only played golf in many countries but also have achieved an extremely high level in squash. I believe my experience and exposure to a number of sports at a high level has enriched my personal coaching skills and have made my philosophy, that if you work on the key areas, perfect them and work hard then there is no limit to how good you can get.
I love working here at Wexham because you can teach all abilities. Over the busy periods I can do as many as 100 lessons a week and sometimes 350 a month.
Over the years I have worked with professionals who compete on Europro Tour, TP Tour, Jamega Tour, South Region & BB&O. I’ve also been awarded for bringing some of the best juniors through from the start grass roots to currently winning some of the biggest events in the junior world calendar.
- County champions, order of merit winners, regional winners and players
- European champions
- World champions
- National England players
- Regional Players
An example of this is Conor Gough won the Reid (European champs under 15) Trophy this year by 5 strokes. Currently I have 5 players who are between scratch (0) through to +3 handicap. Roughly 20 players between scratch and 4. Many juniors coming through between the ages of 4-14 who are 28 to 4 handicap.
I take a lot of pride in my work and have be recognised by a number of governing bodies which I take as a real accomplishment. I was the 2013 PGA South Region coach of the year, 2014 PGA European coach nominee and 2015/2016/2017 Todays Golfer magazine Top 50 coach.

Fun fact: I can dance like no one is watching.
I am a “Class A” PGA member having qualified in 1995. I still have the same passion for playing golf now as I did when I started. On my days off I still compet in regional PGA events. Having started my golf at Leighton Buzzard Golf Club I was lucky and privileged enough to play and socialise with Ian Poulter. I use this experience as well as working with some of the country’s best coaches to improve and enhance my teaching techniques. I have coached at all levels from beginners through to professionals and believe in the philosophy of minimal changes for maximum results. For each of my lessons I look to improve the pupil’s score (after all there is no point in working on someone’s swing when they are having four putts on every green). I utilise all the latest technology and resources to achieve the best results for my clients.
