LOCAL RULES
1. OUT OF BOUNDS
A ball is out bounds when it comes to rest beyond the boundary fence of the course, in the driving range or surrounds of the clubhouse as signified by the white posts.
Entry into the private gardens on the 13th and 14th is strictly prohibited.
Internal out of bounds posts between holes 5 and 6 only apply to hole 5.
Internal out of bounds posts between holes 5 and 12 apply to both holes.
Internal out of bounds posts between holes 6 and 12 apply to both holes.
2. PENALTY AREAS are defined by yellow or red stakes.
Hole 4 – If it is known or virtually certain (KVC) that your ball has landed in a penalty area, a provisional ball may be taken from the tee or as PA relief. If the original ball is found within the 3-minute search period, the player has the option to play the first ball as it lies or play the provisional ball as the ball in play. If the original ball is not found, the provisional ball becomes the ball in play.
3. NO PENALTY
a) If any staked tree interferes with a player’s stance or area of intended swing, the ball must be lifted and dropped clear within one club length of the nearest point of relief, BUT NOT NEARER THE HOLE.
b) A ball played onto a putting green other than that of the hole being played must be lifted and dropped clear without penalty in accordance with Rule 13.1f.
c) A ball played onto a teeing area other than that of the hole being played must be lifted and dropped clear without penalty in accordance with Rule 16.1
d)A ball coming to rest in a tractor mark, or any part of the watering system may be lifted and dropped without penalty in accordance with Rule 16.1
e) Pathways, internal fences, and fairway distance markers are immovable obstructions. Rule 16.1 a.
f) Driving range support wires – if a ball strikes one of these support wires, the stroke must be cancelled and replayed without penalty.
g) Hole 15 – Relief to the drop zone may be taken from the path to the RH side of 15th green (up to the bridge) only if your ball is at rest on the path or your stance or swing are affected by the path.
h) Hole 4 – Relief to the designated drop zone may be taken from the path beyond the 15th green, only if your ball is at rest on the path or your normal stance or swing are affected by the path. The extent of the path which grants relief is staked and is between the bridge beyond the back RH side of the green and the start of the ditch at the back LH side of the green (adjacent to the 13th tee).
i) Free relief may be taken from all drainage ditches and other parts of the irrigation system in the general area.
j) Ground Under Repair (GUR) is always a no play zone, you are not permitted to play the ball. Free nearest point of relief must be taken. If drop-zones are available, relief must be taken in the nearest one, no nearer the hole.
4. GROUND UNDER REPAIR
Play is prohibited from areas marked GUR, or it interferes with a player’s stance or area of intended swing, the player must take relief under Rule 16.1.
5. LOOSE IMPEDIMENTS
Stones in bunkers are loose impediments and they may be removed (they are a natural object.) However, if the ball moves when moving a loose impediment, your ball must be replaced on its original spot and you get a one penalty stroke. Rule 15.1b applies.

Call “Fore” if your ball is traveling towards and is likely to hit anybody.

Climb up the face of a bunker.
Drive until the people in front are out of range.
Wheel a trolley across a putting green or through a sand bunker.
